²⁰ The Lord will send you curses, confusion and punishment in everything you do. You will be destroyed. You will suddenly be ruined. You did wrong when you left him. ²¹ The Lord will give you terrible diseases. He will destroy you from the land you are going to take. ²² The Lord will punish you with disease, fever, swelling, heat, no rain, plant diseases and mildew. Then you will die.
